WIP – Rock and Roll Santa - 2

Little bit more progress on the Rock and Roll Santa

I'll be using the natural ridges of the cypress knee for the back of Santa's coat to show the flow of the fabric.

The face is in stages of roughing out and then I'll will be adding detail.

WIP on 3 carvings Santa Ornies and Uncle Sam

Been working on Holidays and did a few Santa Ornies and an Uncle Sam Saw Handle!

This was on my paint table before Easter.

I got the 2 Santa Ornaments done and have to assemble the Uncle Sam to the base yet!  Then just carving away at some new stuff for the 2013 fall shows.  Hope everyone in blogland is having a good and creative week!

 

Patriotic Santa is done!

Got the Santa Carving done before the snow begins today! 
What a mixed up seasonal Santa...it's suppose to be spring now and we are getting snow sometime today and Santa is dressed in patriotic colors. 
Soooo the season is Spring and Santa's clothing is for the Summer holiday of the 4th of July and Christmas is the winter season.   Confused yet????

Halloween WIP

Uncle Sam Freedom Ride

Uncle Sam is enjoying his Freedom today! 

 

The wood carving was designed around the vintage wooden stirrup

This is a treasure I got last summer and then before Christmas I looked at it and knew what it should be!  Well....it's been half started since then and I got tried of looking at it half done so I did what the famous saying is "Get R Done".  Hope everybody in blog land is having a great week!
